Memories & Candles
Everyone may wonder why I've waited this long to write about my friendship with Ann. I couldn't before now without crying so hard I couldn't see the keyboard. My Ann was my best friend for over 50 years and she was the most constant thing in my life. Over the years our lives changed as did our marriages. Friends changed and family members were lost but our friendship never wavered and we grew old together. We spent my Ann's last

I will always cherish our lunch dates,Bob Ellis shopping sprees, Artisphere in Greenville, New York City, Tropical cruises and all of our many adventures. Most of all I will miss Ann's friendship. It can never be replaced. Thank you Joe for loving and taking such good care of her.

Thank you Ann for the many wonderful supper clubs, for the boat trip to Beaufort, for our supper club cruise to the Caribbean (where I gave you a special assist into a Jeep on Grand Cayman) and for the Buckcherry concerts. Thank you most of all for being a kind, compassionate and constant friend to our family. We are blessed to have you live on in our hearts. God Bless. Rest in peace. Ronnie Richter

I'm so sorry to learn of Ann's passing. We shared some great times together and I regret not keeping in touch with her once I went off to college so many years ago. May your memories of her stay fresh and sweet.

Although I knew Ann's mother, Aunt Maggie, better than Ann, her passing is sad. Ann and my mother, Ruth Reeves Clark, were 1st cousins. It is sad that so many family members that I knew while growing up are no longer living. For decades it never occurred to me that family members may not always be alive, but passings have become increasingly frequent. Of course it's an obvious fact realized over the years, but not a happy one. Goodbye, Ann. May you rest well.
