Esta "P.Z." Goldberg Streit, 96, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Eli Joseph Streit, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 21, 2021. Her Graveside Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery, on Sycamore Dr, in West Ashley at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.Esta was born November 5, 1924 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late J. L. Goldberg and Sarah Kirshtein Goldberg. She was a graduate of Murray Vocational High School. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Samuel M. Buddy Streit of Charleston, SC; her two daughters Harriet S. Stein (Howard) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Rachel S. Peyser of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, David (Jill), Marc (Lorin), Philip (Katie), Jennifer (Robert), Joshua (Ann) and Jenna (Marshall) and nine great-grandchildren, Jack, Nathan, Ethan, Sylvie, Luke, Madeline, Ellie, Sylvie and Ethan.
